Why We Started Cost Price

Our Story

Every big brand started somewhere small, usually with a simple problem they couldn't ignore. Ours was this: we kept noticing that everyday products — the ones we all need, use daily, and rely on — were priced far higher than what it actually cost to make them. A water bottle that cost a fraction to manufacture was being sold at 2-3x that price, purely because of branding, middlemen, and marketing budgets baked into the final tag.

We didn't think that was fair, and more importantly, we didn't think it was necessary.

So we started Cost Price with one simple rule: price things honestly. That means no artificial markups, no fake "50% OFF" tags on prices that were inflated in the first place just to make a discount look bigger, and no cutting corners on quality to hit a lower price point. We wanted to build a brand where the price tag actually made sense — where you're paying for the product, not for three layers of margin stacked on top of it.

Our first product, the SS304 stainless steel water bottle, was built to prove this philosophy could work. It's food-grade, BIS-certified steel, durable enough for daily use — office, home, outdoors, kids — and priced at what it should genuinely cost, not what the market has trained you to expect.

We're a small team right now, still early in this journey, but we're deliberate about every decision — from the materials we choose, to how we price each product, to how we treat every single customer who trusts us enough to place an order. Every review, every repeat customer, every message we get pushes us to hold this standard even tighter as we grow.

This is just the beginning. We're actively working on expanding our range — more everyday products, all built on the same non-negotiable standard: real quality, and pricing that respects you enough to be honest.

If you're here early, thank you. You're not just buying a product — you're backing an idea that pricing doesn't have to be a game. We're just getting started, and we're glad you're here for it.
